The MAX693 is a microprocessor monitor for monitoring the
system voltage of a microprocessor system.
The device includes a reset output for power up and down conditions, together with low voltage
brownout reset. Battery backup switching is provided to switch to
a back-up battery in power fail conditions. The MAX693 also includes
an adjustable watchdog timer, as well as write protection for the CMOS RAM or EEPROM.
