Description
The 74HC00 contains four independent
2-Input NAND Gates with buffered outputs.
Each gate of the 74HC00 performs the boolean operation of
Y = A • B,
using positive logic. When all inputs to the gate are HIGH (1), the output will be a LOW (0). If any
of the inputs are LOW (0), the output will be HIGH (1).
The 74HC00 offers reduced power consumption compared to TTL and will operate
with a supply voltage from 2V to 6V.
