Product Details

The MAX250 is an electrically isolated dual RS-232 transmitter/receiver. With the addition of a few components, a complete 19.2k baud transceiver can be constructed. The MAX250 operates from a single +5V power supply and includes a low power shutdown mode. The chip also includes a push-pull driver for the external isolation transformer.
