Description
The 40 Pin IC Socket is used for mounting DIP or through-hole
integrated circuits (IC) on printed circuit boards, without the need to solder
the IC directly to the PCB. The socket features dual wipe contacts for reliable
connection to both sides of the IC pin. Standard 0.6" width 40 pin IC socket for
mounting of CPUs, microprocessors and microcontroller ICs.
