Description
The 28 Pin IC Socket is used for mounting DIP or through-hole
integrated circuits (IC) on printed circuit boards, without the need to solder
the IC directly to the PCB, allowing for easy removal of the IC.
The socket features dual wipe contacts for reliable
connection to both sides of the IC pin. The socket has a standard 0.6" width for
mounting of EPROM memory chips and microprocessor ICs.
