PCF8574 IO Expansion Mini Board

The PCF8574 IO Expansion Mini Board is a quick and easy solution to expanding and adding output ports to your control system. This PCF8574 board connects to a standard I²C bus and adds an additional 8 output ports to your system. A total of 8 of these PCF8574 boards can be added to a single I²C bus with each board having a unique address. This board can be used with your Arduino® or Raspberry Pi board.

This PCF8574 Board includes the Philips Semiconductor PCF8574 I/O Expansion IC together with selectable pull-up resistors for the I²C Bus. The output connections use a standard IDCC connector, and can be easily connected to another microcontroller board. A set of 3 jumpers are included on the board for address selection.
