DS3232 Real Time Clock Mini Board

Our new DS3232 Real Time Clock Mini Board provides very high precision with an integrated crystal and
temperature compensation. This compact mini-board connects to Arduino® and microcontroller boards with the standard I²C bus.
The board is ideal for use with GPS Units, Precision Data Logging, Servers and much more.
The time is maintained and updated within the DS3232 IC. Included on-board is also battery back-up, enabling the time to be maintained even with power disconnected from the board for an extended period of time. The DS3232 IC stores time values in separate registers, for years, month, day, hour, minutes and seconds. A scratchpad data bank is also available for storing of temporary or alarm values. Two time of day alarms are included within the DS3232 and will automatically generate an interrupt once this time has been reached. The unit also includes integral temperature measurement and this value can be read from the registers. Refer to the DS3232 datasheet below for more information.
Our new DS3232 Real Time Clock Mini Board is ideal for applications requiring precision accuracy and long term reliability in time keeping and date stamping functions. The board is easy to connect to for data transfer between most microcontrollers or control systems.
