MCP3424 18-bit A/D Converter Mini Board

Now in stock, our high-accuracy MCP3424 18-bit A/D Converter Mini Board. This MCP3424 board is ideal for when you need high accuracy, fast conversion time measurements for data logging and real world monitoring applications. This new board is based on the high-performance Microchip® MCP3424 18-bit Delta-Sigma Analog to Digital Converter IC.

The MCP3424 18-bit A/D Converter Mini Board has a total of 4 A/D Input Channels, which can be arranged for single ended or different input signals with a jumper selector provided on the board for each channel. The board also include selectable input voltage ranges together with an on-board voltage reference. Different sampling rates can be selected with a maximum of 240 Samples per Second possible at a lower accuracy. The Microchip MCP3424 also includes an integral Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) which offers a number of input gain selections for amplifying small signal levels. A standard I²C serial interface is provided for data transfer and easy set-up with your Arduino® Board or one of our many controller boards.

The MCP3424 A/D board includes a Microchip PICkit™ Serial Analyzer connection for setting up the MCP3424 chip and also monitoring the readings from the IC. Easy to connect, male and female headers are provided for the power and I²C connections as well as a power LED for status indication. High quality pcb terminals are included for connection of the incoming input signals.

Our new MCP3424 18-bit A/D Converter Mini Board is ideal for use in high-accuracy real-world measuring applications and can easily be connected to your Arduino® board to improve the accuracy of your readings or to supplement the existing A/D inputs.
