In this month’s edition of Silicon Chip Electronics Magazine, features a wealth of interesting articles and projects. We have a look at the new Roland EGX-350 Desktop Engraver. This compact easy to use engraver allows you to make and mill your own pcb's in a matter of hours, no need for messy chemicals or solution tanks. This unit will route, drill and cut-out your pcb board to a very high-degree of accuracy. Also this month, the new Quantumdata 780 HDMI tester, this unit will allow you to test HDMI equipment, such as LCd's and Plasma TV sets, as well as DVD players and computer displays.
This month’s projects include a very easy to build webserver in a box. This webserver unit will house your own website with the ability to monitor 4 analog inputs and 4 digital outputs. These can be switched and monitored from anywhere in the world even through a mobile phone with web browser. Also this month, a twin engine speedmatch indicator, ideal for the boating enthusiast, this unit provides a visual indication if both motors are operating at the same speed and allows you to match the output of the motors for maximum efficiency. The final part, or the high-quality stereo DAC is covered, including how to combine the various modules and how to set-up the remote control. All projects come complete with circuit diagram and electronic parts list.
