This month’s projects includes a USB-Sensing Mains Power Switch, this unit will automatically switch the connected Mains Peripherals on with your PC, ideal for switching the sound unit, etc on when you turn on your computer, saves power too. Designed for a 240Vac mains system. Also build an add-on remote switch for switching a mains relay from your computer. This can be used for switching lights etc, directly from your computer. This month a simple easy to build AM loop antenna, ideal for improving the reception of your AM radio in remote locations, this antenna can be built in a couple of hours and will improve your reception considerably. The second part of the scrolling display is also featured, with the construction and software installation details provided. Finally a 433MHz UHF remote switch, this unit has a range over 200m and is ideal for use as a garage door opener or switching lights in a remote location.
