USB Mini Board
Connect to a PC for sending and receiving data with our fantastic USB Mini Board,
our USB Mini Board is much more than your standard FT232 Board, this board is loaded with
features. Based on the very popular FTDI FT232RL USB to UART Converter IC, the board allows
connection to a standard USB port for sending and receiving information as well as controlling
a number on I/O points. Ideal for real world interfacing and control of remote devices from your computer,
the board is very easy to use and numerous drivers are available for most operating systems.
The USB Mini Board is based on the FT232RL which includes all the necessary functions and protocol
for communicating using a standard USB Connection. This allows easy and hassle free transfer of
data between your system and the computer. Data can be sent and received to the board using RS232,
RS422 and RS485 Communication at TTL Levels with speeds up to 3MBaud. The FT232 then handles all of the
necessary communication with the computer through a USB port. All the necessary support components are included on the
board, with LED indication for the USB Communication, plus an onboard regulator for the 3.3V,
together with standard male and female headers for connection to your system.
The board will work with both 3.3V and 5V microcontroller systems, making it ideal for most microcontrollers,
includes PIC, AVR and ARM microcontrollers.
Our new USB Mini Board is ideal for sending and receiving data to and from your computer using
the standard USB port. The board is very easy to use and is ideal for connecting to your microcontroller
or for a real world automation system.
