inexpensive PIC32MX250 Controller is a great way to start. This new board features the PIC32MX250 32-bit
microcontroller from Microchip, with all the power of a 32-bit micro, including high-speed operation, large
program memory, complex mathematical calculations, efficient C coding and extensive Graphic Display support.
This board is ready to run, with easy programming, standard header connectors for I/O connections and an extensive
programming library available from Microchip.
The Microchip PIC32MX250 Microcontroller includes a huge 128kb of internal Flash Program Memory suitable for the largest of programs.
The high-speed 32-bit core operates at up to 83 DMIPS (Dhrystone Million Instuctions per Second) with a large range of DSP
machine language instructions. The core is optimized for C language programming and a wide range of C Compilers are
available to use with this microcontroller including the free MPLAB XC32 Compiler. An extensive software
library has already been written for these microcontrollers, including support for USB, Graphic Displays,
Audio Input and Output, CAN, TCP/IP, Floating Point Math Library and much more.
The PIC32MX250 Microcontroller is also ideal for Real-World monitoring applications, with a total of 9 A/D Channels with
10-bit accuracy and a high-speed conversion rate. Together with a real-time clock and calender within the microcontroller.
A large array of communications modules are also included, with integral I²C, SPI, USB and also 2 UART's for RS232 Communication.
The Charge Time Measurement Unit is integral to the microcontroller and this provides support for touch buttons and
sliders with an on-chip temperature measurement capability. A Parallel Master Port is also available for
easy connection to graphical interfaces, such as Graphic and Character LCD's.
All the necessary support components are included on the board, together with a Power and Programming LED for easy status indication. Plus a reset switch for program execution.
Programs can be updated and downloaded directly to the board, through the download connection on-board, the programming requires our
PIC Programmer or the ICD3 Debugger and Programmer from Microchip.
The new PIC32MX250 Controller is a powerful 32-bit Embedded Controller suitable for a wide
range of applications, where a more powerful microcontroller is needed for integral graphic displays and
