ATMega8535 Controller

To add to our new range of inexpensive high performance controllers, our new ATMega8535 Controller is now available. This great, small compact controller is ideal for use as an easily replacable embedded main board or cpu. The unit incorporates the high performance ATMega8535 from Atmel, with fast throughput and a host of useful peripherals to provide excellent versatility for working in many different applications.

The board includes in-circuit program download for easy updates and program changes. This can be done with the controller in place, or on-site. All port pins are brought out to easy-to-connect standard male headers. Additional interface boards can be easily connected and changed as required with these standard connectors. The ATMega8535 Controller, includes all the necessary support components including crystals, MAX232 interface and download connection for a complete ready to run solution.

The high performance Atmel ATMega8535 Microcontroller includes 8kb of internal flash Program Memory, together with a large RAM area and an internal EEPROM. An 8-channel 10-bit A/D convertor is also included within the microcontroller, making it ideal for real-time systems and monitoring applications. Also included with the microcontroller is a real time counter, three timers, SPI Interface and a programmable watchdog timer. The ATMega8535, utilizes the latest in AVR technology with an advanced RISC, a throughput of up to 8 MIPS is possible with this controller.

The ATMega8535 Controller board also includes programming and power led's for easy to read status indication. A test led (PB0) is also provided to incorporate in your application. A reset switch and power supply connections are also provided.

The new ATMega8535 Controller is the ideal solution for use as a standard controller in many applications. The small compact size combined with easy program updates and modifications, make it ideal for use in machinery and control systems, such as alarms, card readers, real-time monitoring applications and much more. This board is ideal as the brains of your robot or at the center of your home-monitoring system. Save time and money, by simply building your ancillary boards and monitoring circuits around this inexpensive and easy to use controller.
